Led the team responsible for Product Operations Program Management, which supported 40+ Product Managers within the company's core product organization. Our ops team, consisting of program managers, engineers, and designers, applied agile development practices in order to build/manage internal products and programs that enabled Unity's product management and stakeholder teams to be lean in their workflows, ultimately reducing time-to-value for Unity's end-users. We applied product management principles and frameworks and treated product managers and their stakeholders like our "customers". Our vision was to enable the transformation of our org to become product-led (customer-centric); our mission was to provide product management & stakeholder teams with standardized tools, frameworks, and programs that enabled data-driven, customer-centric product decisions. Responsibilities included:• Continuously identified pain points in Product Management & stakeholder teams' workflows and created solutions that allowed them to optimize value creation for customers. Facilitated change management of said solutions.• Enabled customer-driven product development by standardizing & centralizing all product feedback (external and internal) under one hood that aggregated and scored it, all whilst accounting for UX-friendly systems tailored to each party involved (e.g. customers submitting feedback vs colleagues submitting feedback vs colleagues receiving/managing feedback).• Fostered optimized cross-functional collaboration & transparency by leveraging tooling integrations to establish single sources of truth for product information and make the info accessible to the entire company.• Achieved clarity and visibility to the Unity product portfolio & roadmap, ultimately accelerating our ability to bring innovative products and features to market as well as effectively maintain/sunset them.• Established and tracked metrics for our own efforts in order to measure our impact.

We enabled product teams to make data-informed decisions, innovate with ease, have a shared understanding of the ever-sprawling Unity product portfolio, and accelerate our ability as an organization to more effectively bring better products to market. Additionally, we empowered Unity employees to have a cohesive and accurate shared understanding of all things product at Unity and use standardized product info at scale to streamline their workflows. We partnered with cross-functional teams across the entire organization to invent, build, launch, and optimize internal programs, tools, and data dashboards to achieve this. This naturally involved identification, analysis and deprecation of redundant tools. The products we built & maintained were primarily built for Product Managers, but also benefited their closest stakeholders like Designers, Engineers, Customer-facing teams, Product Marketing Managers, and, in fact, the entire company.
