The Company I have worked with in my Summer Internship partially belongs to the IT industry, & the Hospitality industry as well. CredenceSoft is an IT Software company that serves its clients by providing industry standard cloud based, cost effective, customized software. This could be used by everyone else as well. However, the Company targets Hotels, Restaurants & Bars, Lodgings, etc., wherever there are multiple accommodation spaces & departments as well. Hence, the Company basically serves the Hospitality industry by providing Hoteliers with PMS (Property Management System) that the Hoteliers could use for multiple purposes such as – Front Desk, Room Service, Food & Beverages, Accounts & Credits, HR & Payroll, Revenue Management, Housekeeping, etc. During my tenure at CredenceSoft Pvt. Ltd, my primary role was to persuade hoteliers to register for free on our company's Online Travel Agency (OTA) platform, The Hotel Mate. Notably, our company applies a modest 10% commission fee exclusively when a hotel successfully receives bookings through The Hotel Mate. Through my efforts, I successfully registered 44 hotels on The Hotel Mate.Additionally, I was responsible for arranging and conducting software demonstrations for hoteliers. These demos provided them with a comprehensive understanding of the software, including its features, pricing structure, benefits, and operational functionality. In some instances, I conducted these demos in person, visiting the hoteliers to ensure a more personalized and effective presentation.Furthermore, part of my job entailed persuading hoteliers to consider registration on other OTAs, such as Make My Trip, Goibibo, Agoda, Yatra.com, Travel Guru, etc.I also contributed to lead generation by identifying potential hotels through various platforms like Google and Facebook. Moreover, I was responsible for maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to effectively manage and nurture our relationships with our clients.
