Develop an annual Corporate Audit Programme.Conduct integrated QHSE audits of Corporate offices and major Projects.Develop annual budgets for QHSE resource bedded-out in the corporate offices, assess the level of resource for current and future corporate activities and assist Project Managers in recruiting QHSE resource for their projects.Develop and maintain Corporate QHSE procedures.Review and help to develop QHSE competence standards and individual competence across the Group of companies.Monitor changes to legislation and assess the impact on the business.Review and analyse data from audits, accident investigations, near misses, concessions, defect reports and customer complaints to identify adverse trends and implement preventive action.Undertake the Group’s Management Review process.Identify and facilitate continuous improvement opportunities and monitor progress.Prepare quarterly reports for the Board.Act as the Quality Assurance Manager for the IOSH-approved training courses.

Assist the Divisional HSE Manager with maintaining the comprehensive HSE Program for the Canadian Drilling Division, and ensure that the Divisional Program is aligned with the Corporation’s broader expectations and standards for HSE in the workplace;Assist the Divisional HSE Manager with creating a safety plan that includes an assessment of the current effectiveness of the safety program, set out defined targets for reduction/completion, and the path of execution to deliver those results;Assist the Divisional HSE Manager with supervision and mentoring of the divisional field HSE team;Ensure that all field location practices are aligned with the expectations and standards for health and safety in the workplace;Actively work with the field level employees to ensure that the highest level of health and safety standards are applied and maintained in all field operations at all times;Assist the Divisional HSE Manager with organizing and coordinating regular safety meetings for the HSE team and divisional management/supervisory personnel to provide safety updates and track open HSE issues;Coordinate and/or attend regular safety meetings for the field level personnel to provide safety updates and communicate health and safety related issues;Ensure that all field employees have the appropriate up to date safety training certifications while making on-site visits;Provide input and assistance to rig managers and other rig personnel;Verify that all on-site supervisors are providing their workers with the training and supervision required to safely complete work tasks, and identify hazards for all well site activities;Ensure that Senior Management is notified of safety issues in a timely manner;Ensure all site specific emergency response procedures are in place;Ensure all field employees are properly trained with site specific emergency response procedures;Responsible for the on-site delivery of new safety information;
