Building a next generation mobile banking experience with a brilliant team in Detroit and NYC

As the technical founder of Farebox, I'm responsible for designing and delivering infrastructure and product features. I've designed, architected, and built all aspects of our product including managing technical contributors. With Farebox we're building tools that help small businesses who manage vehicle fleets to deliver great customer experiences

I held 3 different roles in my 2+ years at Quicken Loans. I was a software Architect working on the Spark Design System, the design system behind Rocket branded products such as Rocket Mortgage. I spent over a year as Experience Director on Rocket Professional, helping to design and build a third party mortgage origination experience targeted to Real Estate and Insurance agents. I also spent time as a Design Technologist, which is a multi-disciplinary role focused on how UI design, UX design, and software development come together and how to fit them together better in a product development cycle.

I lead a small team at GM that builds in-vehicle applications and tools for developers working on in-vehicle software experiences

I work as the Senior developer and team lead with Detroit Labs' General Motors NGI team. In this role, I'm helping to create software that runs on the infotainment centers in model year 2017+ Chevy cars and trucks that take full advantage of their new in-vehicle 4G/WiFi connectivity.

I led the development of the Account Manager portion of Team Detroit's redesign of http://credit.ford.com/ (due out ~March 2016), and related tools. I worked closely with several developers to create single-page web app experiences built with angular js and a variety of other modern javascript frameworks. I also worked closely with a remove Java team to integrate our apps into a customized CMS framework and directly with Ford's developers to help refine an API they created to support our development efforts.

Apprend is a company focused on teaching people about software and technology. We offer affordable instructor led classroom-based learning for technology that is in demand.

I spend most of my time doing a deep analysis on current or prospective customers to see how they could build apps to delight their users after implementing Apigee's software. I then build custom app designs and scripts to help articulate that value within the customer's company.
