For four years I dedicated myself to learning about the fascinating and complex history of the world that we live in. Along the way I learned many valuable lessons from some of the smartest people that have ever lived as well as I developed skills that will help me be an asset to any company that I work for; such as, leadership, management, and effective communication. During my time in school I was a member of Phi Alpha Theta (National History Honors Society). Before I began studying history I was an athlete who played year round competitive water Polo for some of the highest caliber teams in the country. During college I worked as a lifeguard on Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton. Following my Bachelors degree I began working as substitute teacher in the Vista Unified School District whenever I am need. As a sub I take great joy in connecting with students and assisting them through the learning process. I have found great benefit as a substitute teacher in seeing how a variety of schools operate and the excellent programs they implement. Throughout my time in college and beyond I have also coached for NSD Stars Water Polo club in North County San Diego.
