In ICFAI Business School, Club activities are given as much importance as any other subject.Being a part of any club teaches you on how to handle internal as well as external pressure. This pressure doubles when one has a responsibility of being a President of the club. This doesn't mean an executive member is any less, as all employees together make a firm; a club is also by the people and for the people.The responsibility which my seniors gave to me seeing my potential to guide a team, has always tested my capabilities and given me the challenges which I couldn't have even faced until any corporate exposure. It also includes dividing roles and responsibilities among everyone and addressing to a grievance, if any.I have discovered many, previously unknown, fears, weakness and hesitations which I can work upon and make myself useful to an organization. There's a long way to go and learning is a continuous process.

Enhancing my generic understanding about quantitative as well as qualitative analysis through which not only FMCG sector but also companies in the B2B sector can generate useful information. Comprehending the basic operations involved in an infrastructure company gave me an opportunity to expand my learning horizon.Identifying various phases required to pass a tender for any project, learning about competitors and testing nearly 10 analytical tools in the span of 2 weeks helped me refining my analytical skills and boosted my working hours as well. In addition to this Knowledge Application of various business analytics and research concepts were co-related such as regression, p-value, primary/secondary research, etc.Apart from having prior knowledge about quantitative analysis, learning about qualitative analysis was equally important during the internship. Text mining helped me understand how the application of keywords, word cloud, and text tagging can be useful in extracting hidden information in unstructured data.Challenges faced were working in an unfamiliar sector, studying about the company for a week helped me gain confidence and gave me an elementary outline about Business to the Business infrastructure sector. The selection process of a software/analytical tool, also proved to be a difficulty as it was a long process to carry out series of tests to validate and finalize a single tool for further analysis. It was difficult to formulate a prototype model initially as this was a greenfield project, however suitable direction from the company mentors kept me motivated to complete the task.Formal and Conductive Behaviour was observed in the organization along with proper hierarchical structure, delegation and decentralization existed. Teamwork and proper communication among different companies under Shapoorji Pallonji Group, different departments in AFCONS and internally in a department made the operations easier.
