My employment at Sunderland City Council began in 2003, where I worked as an Administrative Assistance for Social Services.I then transferred internally to the Education Department - specifically the School Improvement Service - providing support for a School Improvement Officer, and visiting schools to assist staff complete online training.In 2010, I transferred to Sunderland City Council's Cash in Transit department, and in 2016 I became the Assistant Supervisor.During this time, I also ran my own business, repairing and upgrading computers. I ceased trading in 2018.In 2020, it was announced that Sunderland City Council would no longer be operating a Cash in Transit service. I therefore gained employment with Together for Children - the former Education Department of Sunderland City Council - and found myself back in the School Improvement Service! I now manage a team of five. We provide administrative support to a range of staff, as well as gathering and presenting data.Software that I use every day:Microsoft 365:WordExcelOutlookPowerPointOneNoteTeamsPower BII absolutely love using Excel. There's nothing quite like working on a nice, large, well-formatted spreadsheet with conditional formatting, formulas, charts and pivot tables!I'm also a keen Twitter / X user (I have over 10,000 followers on my personal channel!), and determined to grow the social media presence of the School Improvement Team.
