About Aditya Sharma
A Finance professional, having more than 3 years of work experience in Renewable Energy (solar ) Industry and financial responsibilities associated with the Renewable power projects. I started my journey as a civil engineer, learning different Financial and technical aspects of the construction project. Some years later , I discovered my keeness for the Structured Finance particularly in the Renewable power Industry. To gain some hands-on experience , I took the plunge and joined a startup, where I managed a 140 MW solar power projects in the capacity of the Finance manager. The role was concerned with carrying out due diligences, preparing presentations to raise funds for the project, and managing the cash flows. Since it was a start-up, I not only got the exposure to financial aspects of the project but also got the exposure to construction, supply chain, operation and maintenance , negotiation with stakeholders. My next experience was again one of the best learning experience, when I went to England for MBA and learned working in fast-paced, dynamic, multi-cultural and complex environment, by honing team management and time management skills , in addition to management knowledge of the business subjects. Currently, I'm working with ACME , biggest solar IPP of the country India, working as a Project Finance Manager.The role is majorly concerned with raising funds, managing mergers and acquisitions of the energy assets of the company , and carrying out due diligences.
