I started this position in 2006 when Transfered from the UK to Canada. The postion includes Procurement/Admin and Accounts duties. This also included the initial setup of the companies offices and production facilities in canada. As a team we are working to help Captec become the No.1 Industrial Computer Manufacturer in North America.
Duties including global procurement of computer components - stock control - Scheduling of shipments as well as helping sales to specify computer systems to be sold to Captec's Customers
This position changed over the years from being a 17 year old working in the warehouse to progressing to the Purchasing and Scheduling of products and shipments for a major government projects for the NHS. within this role I also had to perform network cabling - Computer installation and managing of Customer/Supplier returns. the company was originally called 2GL and after its merger with a Management Company in 2001 became WCI.
