This internship was an introduction to sales and relationship-based consulting and selling. Pharmaceuticals and genomic testing were the main focuses. Tasks included scheduling appointments with producers, re sellers, and veterinarians as well as making "cold calls." Networking, communication, and follow-through were skills sharpened and built through everyday tasks. The internship had specific quotas and goals for sales as well as product-specific sales goals. All goals were exceeded.
