In my role as a Pre Sales consultant for MentecPlus (previously known as Calyx Software) I assist the sales process by liaising with potential customers to establish their requirements from an ERP solution. This Process involves a period on consultation across the entire organisation, following which I configure a working model to demonstrate how the combination between AGRESSO and newly proposed processes solves the business requirements of the clients.

I was responsible for the successful implementation of enterprise level (Sun Systems), SME level (Pegasus Opera) and specialist reporting (Vision) applications. Key parts of this role were• Providing consultancy and direction on system development and accountancy matters for example design of organisation information structures, both internal and external, • Financial and management report design and development, • Business process redesign, etc. This role relied heavily on my previous experience and accountancy training.As well as the delivery of consultancy services, project management was also a key requirement in this role. For the smaller implementations I would be responsible for managing the project from both the customer’s expectations and their deliverables. Key tasks included•Full analysis and definition of site requirements•Agreeing deliverables from both sides and monitoring timetables and deadlines•Documentation and final sign off

As a deployment specialist/lead with Accenture I was responsible for the effective deployment of in-house applications within the European Accenture group (i.e. Accenture offices in various European locations), this also inluded the management of 2 direct staff within the deployment team

As the assistant financial controler my main duties included the management of Finance IT systems development together with the development of management systems & processes.A key task was the production of the monthly financial accounts and reports to strict deadlines. I was also responsible for the recruitment, supervision and development of junior accounts staff. Other tasks included the co-ordination and processing of the payroll for UK and Irish staff, the co-ordination and processing of VAT returns for UK and Irish offices and assisting in annual budget/business plan process.

During my temporary contract with the Faculty of Commerce in UCD I was responsible for seting up of Profit and Loss accounts for all faculty programs so that all expenditure and income could be appropriately managed. The extraction of financial reports and statistics using Business Objects report writer and performing ad-hoc analysis of information as required by the Faculty Management Executive, the Dean and the Faculty Administrator

During my time at Esat Business (a former division within the O2 group) I was responsible for sytems project management (e.g. Euro changeover & System implementations).Full systems responsibility for the implementation and managemant of accounting systems, including the design and delivery of training to all relevant employees. Continuous development and improvement of existing business processes including the development of effective MIS systems. I was also responsible for the production of month end management accounts, the final analysis and presentation of financial accounts including a full revenue and cost analysis of operation activities.

ATI Technologies Inc. (ATI) was a major Canadian designer and supplier of graphics processing units and motherboard chipsets. In 2006, the company was acquired by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and was renamed the AMD Graphics Product Group.During my time with ATI I was responisble for full revenue and cost analysis and the production of month end management accounts.
