Responsibilities:• Negotiating price and supply conditions for chemicals with suppliers.• Gathering information about the technical features of the product and conducting market research.• Investigating and finding new abroad and local suppliers.• Preparation and renewal of long term/project-based contracts with suppliers.• Conducting tender processes with companies that meet required conditions for logistics purchases.• Considering the stock levels of chemical products and cash flow, ordering the optimum quantities needed.• Tracking shipment processes from supplier to warehouse to receive the order in safe and in time.• Offering improvements to procurement processes or usage conditions for regularly purchased products.• Supporting the quality test procedures of the product to be purchased to get technical approvals.• Supporting the payment process of purchased products.Achievements: • Led the process to achieve almost zero stock level for chemical materials due to plant shutdown without risking the ongoing production processes. These works were achieved by close follow up with related departments and suppliers.• Assessed, analyzed and selected the 1-2 suppliers for each section, from the group of suppliers approved by Honda Motor Europe supplier list and integrated them to supplier processes of Honda Turkey.• Led the quotation and the selection process for the logistics operations of the new Honda market strategy due to plant closing and all the cars coming from abroad.• Incorporated needs of Honda Turkey regarding service providers with the scope of Pan-E Procurement Project conducted by Honda Global. As a result, ISS was selected instead of Sodexo for catering services while alignment was given regarding the global Vodafone agreement.• Achieved 75K Euro per year saving by eliminating a supplier and purchasing directly from the producer.

Responsible of controlling the production plans in different plants with regarding departments to meet customer needs in time and safely.Achievements:• Ensured the correct production input from the customers in Italy and Sweden to the plants in Poland, Morocco and Tunisia. As a result, all the products were delivered on time.• Deactivated the Tunisia plant, which had quality problems and switched to Poland plant in 2 weeks without any delays to the customer orders.
