Tactical Firearms Unit

Supporting the wider unarmed organisation, I have held various, often simultaneous, roles in this highly specialist service:Counter Terrorism Specialist Firearms Officer (CTSFO) - Qualified to the highest level of firearms policing, I hold responsibility for crime in action reaction alongside supporting planned high risk operations and spontaneous events..

In an additional on-call role, I provide unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) support to policing activity. I have established resilient working relationships with key partners, building cohesion and clarity of vision and purpose around the expansion of drone use; contributing to large scale operations including official and public order events and large open.

Armed Response Vehicle

I was tasked with high visibility armed policing response across Manchester. I provided 24/7 armed protection within a dynamic team, ensuring full legal compliance in this tightly legislated service.
