We're a growing project in Gateshead set up to share skills and local, naturally produced fruit and vegetables, specialising in the growth of Hops at their extreme northern limit.I was the company secretary and helped with horticultural development, events organisation, publicity, maintenance and training in green woodworking skills with outdoor education facilities and opportunities e.g. Forest Schools.

I was the manager of the higher level arboriculture course at East Durham College, where I was responsible for the HND and level 4 students. As a part of the team I also taught the level 3 students. My own experience and expertise was used to train students to work to a professional level in the industry, particularly in tree surveying and management.
