At Zulily I was part of the application development and support team responsible for every aspect of our customer's experience with Zulily from our mobile apps and website, the ordering and shipping experience, integrations with social media and other marketing platforms and the development of new features for customers.I worked on large new features for the mobile apps like a new personalized suggestion feed for users, a complete rebuild of the Sign In and Sign Up pages and many new UI components for the rest of the app.I led our engineering team through several large feature implementations that required coordination across multiple engineering, marketing and business teams as well as updates to customer service procedures.During on-call duties I was responsible for the whole of the user experience across all platforms including iOS, Android, mobile web and desktop web front end applications. I was also responsible for troubleshooting and fixing issues with our hosting infrastructure on AWS during this time. Additionally I led a weekly operational metrics review call with multiple engineering teams to review and to provide a forum for multiple teams to talk and discuss issues.

This addition of content to the Chatterfly webpage directly contributed to Chatterfly's many first page search results on Google for a variety of search terms and greatly contributed to Chatterfly's brand name recognition on the Peninsula.

While in the service of the US Navy, developed and implemented a robust tracking program that improved the training of 16 Electronic Warfare Operators. Tracked and managed the execution of 28 advanced analysis courses for 33 operators squadron-wide. Instrumental in the organization of safety stand-downs as the Assistant Safety Petty Officer. Promoted a safety conscious environment which resulted in the achievement of zero aviation mishaps.
