I worked as the initial contact for teachers and administration experiencing technical issues in their classrooms and offices. Implement more efficient ways for teachers to get their instruction to their students, and put methods into place to help minimize operational costs. Oversee upgrades to computers, and make recommendations on purchases to improve our technical environment.Covered a wide range of technical issues, including the following:∙ Respond to helpdesk inquires∙ Windows Active Directory management∙ Maintenance of Windows systems∙ Microsoft Office support∙ Complete configuration, setup and support of laptops, desktops, tablets, smart phones, IP phones, printers, scanners and copiers. I served in the US Army Reserves as an Information System Operator and Analyst for 6 years, including a 1 year tour of duty with the 100-442nd Infantry Battalion in Kuwait/Iraq. During this time I helped ensure operational security and functionality for my unit and superiors in both Unclassified and Secret networks. In addition to my information technology duties, I was also a backup tactical gunner for our convoy escort missions and completed a total of 13 missions in the absence of full time gunners.
