After taking a package at Australia Post I took some time off with the family then took on a variety of consulting assignments to businesses in the Insurance, FMCG, Health and Manufacturing industries. The largest assignment was with a manufacturing business, Pneutech, in the role of GM for Sales, Services & Operations.● Business Start-up – consulted to 2 businesses (Health & Insurance industries) on how to set up a successful small business. This included everything from website set up, finance systems and P&L management, HR processes and sales and marketing strategies, through to pricing and contract management and writing the companies short and long term strategic business plans● Sales & Marketing Strategy – design and implementation for innovative FMCG business with global expansion plans● GM Sales Services & Operations – for the majority of my time consulting I have been contracting as General Manager for Pneutech Pty Ltd. This role has included managing all national operations spanning sales, marketing, customer service, procurement, warehouse, logistics & engineering workshop● Business Optimisation & Restructure● People, Culture & Team – deployed people & culture program including leadership coaching team values framework, training, job descriptions, scorecards and quarterly performance reviews and mentoring

Reporting to the EGM Enterprise Sales & Marketing I played a key part in the development of the long term sales and service strategy to create a best practice sales and service organisation. My role spanned the implementation of a robust operational and governance framework and extensive work with key stakeholders and customers to deliver strategic and operational objectives.Responsibilities● Leadership of 150 staff across 6 locations● Enterprise project sponsorship & management oversight● Management of Sales Excellence Program which including Sales Processes, Tools & Technology ● Contract Management & Customer Service for key accounts ● On boarding of new contracted customers● Sales Force Effectiveness & Sales Planning

This role commenced with a strong focus on the review of all contracts over $1m, with my team providing greater analysis of costs across the business.Responsibilities● Management of an overall team of 20 staff● Provision of advice to MD in negotiations with all large & complex clients contracts● Establishment & management of full contract governance framework

I joined Australia Post to help facilitate the launch of an internal consulting team with a view to reduce external consulting fees and bring the skill sets of consulting in-house. The role later morphed into a more commercial role with a focus on the review of all major commercial contracts, providing financial support across major deals to realise a greater profitability. Responsibilities● Hire & manage a team of 3 staff providing consultancy expertise across the business ● Implement activity based costing methodology to deliver customer & product profitability analysis ● Team focus was process improvement, revenue leakage, ABC financial modelling & due diligence on acquisitions, divestments & new product launches
