Building scenarios to demonstrate the features of Squid Proxy as Caching, Content Filtering, Access Control List (ACL) in a network system.• Tools & technologies used: Squid Proxy, VMWare, Ubuntu.• Deploy Squid Proxy in Ubuntu 22.04 on VMWare Worksation 17 for simple Network System to control client with feature Caching, Content Filtering and manage Access Control List.

Deploy Mod Security to protect a Web Server Service in the context of a small business network.• Tools & technologies used: Mod Security, Kali Linux, Apache2, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP.• Configured Mod Security rules in line to to protect web applications from common attacks in Top 10 OWASP such as SQL Injection, Command Injection, and Denial-of-Service (DoS).• Analyzed Mod Security logs to identify and prevent potential attacks.

This project aimed to explore and deploy the ELK Stack for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing log data from various sources• Tools & technologies used: ELK Stack, PfSense - Firewall, Snort - NIDPS, OSSEC - HIDPS, ModSecurity - WAF.• To gain a comprehensive understanding of the ELK Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.• To implement the ELK Stack for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing log data.
