CurrentWhen PsiTech wanted to expand our entertainment market into broadcast TV, I created and led the team that developed a multi-terabyte storage system, with a multi-gigabyte per second fiber optic interface which incorporated real-time image processing. PsiTech’s specialized replays have been seen on TV over 100 times, and this very successful product was nominated for a Technical Sports Emmy. One key market for PsiTech image capture products is the government sector. I expanded PsiTech’s relationships with integrators in the government sector resulting in a new remotely operated security product that resulted in multiple new contracts with a value of over $2M dollars. When a customer in the industrial sector needed to dramatically increase efficiency of their digital inspection system, I created and developed specialized test equipment that increased this customer’s efficiency by more than a factor of 100.For the Department of Defense (DOD), I managed the engineering development of the hardware and software for managing vast amounts of data for PsiTech’s test range image capture products that were deployed in locations across the country.I was the principal engineer and point of contact (POC) when PsiTech created the hardware and firmware for a multi-year, multi-million dollar Department of Defense (DOD) electronic intelligence gathering (ELINT) project.PsiTech participated in the creation of a postal letter sorter product for the Post Office that was successfully deployed to hundreds of post offices worldwide. I was the principal engineer and point of contact (POC) for this multi-year, multi-million dollar collaboration.PsiTech created a product for secure transfer of digital footage for the feature film industry. This project involved coding and validating based on the data encryption standard 3DES for secure communications worldwide.
