Spent my entire life saying 'What if we tried this.....?' it's definitely made things interesting! 1.) I've a business you've never heard of - The Double Tap Collective Ltd. It comes with three objectives. Event Management, Better Communities, Local Business Building. Michael Gee Digital Marketing is the digital marketing arm of this business.2.) I provide event management and event planning services. Drawing on my 20 years of experience from working with events, from being a promoter, to running venues and multi-venue festivals. It's not very often my names on the poster but you will see me in the background somewhere.3.) I'm the festival manager for Oxjam Sowerby Bridge Festival, hopefully you have heard of this! We create fundraising and community engagement events throughout Calderdale on behalf of Oxfam. Not to mention putting together a completely volunteer, annual music festival, across more than 10 venues! 4.) I'm involved with a large number of charity, community, volunteer and social enterprise groups. Through shared goals I help with volunteer drives, fundraising leads, event organisation and promotion.5.) I provide training opportunities for those looking to get in to the music industry and artists looking to find a stage. Grassroots music needs to be protected, everyone needs a place to start. 6.) Speaking of live music, I accidentally became an experienced sound engineer. Ended up manning the desk for a gig, suddenly a thousand bands flashed before my eyes! Vocal clarity is my strong point. I've worked with quite a few venues over the years to develop their event sound quality.So that's where I am, say hello!
