Michael H. Weber is Chief Operating Officer for NileBuilt, Corp., builders/developers of high-performance and resilient concrete homes.In October 2019, Weber received the “S.A. Walters Award” for his lifetime achievements in advancing the systems built industry, NAHB’s Building Systems Councils’ highest award. In 2006, Mr. Weber received Hanley Wood Media’s “The Industry’s Ten Most Influential People” award and profiled in Concrete Construction magazine. Weber is a voting member for the American Concrete Institute’s (ACI) 332 Residential Concrete, 533 Precast Wall Panels, 550 Precast Concrete Structures, and 560 Insulating Concrete Forms Committees, and past Board Member of the Insulating Concrete Form Association (ICFA). Mr. Weber served as ‘18 Chairman of NAHB's Building Systems Councils (BSC) and on NAHB's Executive Board during his term. He is current Trustee on the BSC's Board, past Trustee on NAHB's Leading Suppliers Council (LSC), and past President of NAHB’s Concrete Home Building Council.His background includes President of Building Technology & Insight, LLC., a marketing and consulting firm for the building systems community. He most recently served as National Business Development Manager for The Euclid Chemical Company and previously as Chief Operating Officer at Zero Energy Systems, manufacturers of a high performance and resilient insulated concrete wall system in a new, technologically advanced manufacturing plant located in Iowa City, Iowa. Weber also worked as Corporate Director for Business Development & Communications, at CeraTech Inc., manufacturers of high performance, corrosion and heat resistant cements for concrete. He served as Executive VP for Building Works, Inc. with Pieter VanderWerf, Ph.D., as a consultant to the building industry with a specialty for cement-based building systems and concrete products.His past professional experiences include Director of Residential for the Portland Cement Association (PCA), VP of Operations for Johnson Poured Walls, and Director of Training and Product Promotion with Consumers Concrete Corp. He is a graduate of The University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
