I have discovered my passion for teaching from tutoring primary and high school students. I enjoy seeing them not only improve their academic scores but also their attitude and approach towards learning. I also love gaming. In an ideal world, these two passions would be merged and I would be teaching gaming as a subject in school. I am heavily involved as a Game Master for two groups to play Dungeons & Dragons. Running the game at first was to just give some friends an opportunity to play it for the first time, but it has evolved into my passion for developing homebrew stories and allowing my players to play out their fantasies in a safe space. Now they can’t get enough and we’ve decided to collaborate on bringing our stories to YouTube. My hope is that I can continue tutoring students, as well as work in the gaming industry. Having graduated from both UNSW and UTS with a Bachelor degree in Educational Psychology and Science Information Technology, I would be excited to land a job in the gaming industry, doing UX testing or working on virtual reality projects.
