I am an energetic team builder who knows that getting the job done right begins by serving the customer, internal or external, in the best manner possible. Saying "It's not my job" is something I will not do or teach to others. My experience in interpersonal and non-verbal communication, developing relationships on a foundation of mutual trust, builds the bridges to connect and engage with those seeking guidance or assistance. Throughout my journey, I've also developed expertise in working for both state government and Tribal enterprises, wealth of general and subject matter knowledge, and know where to find the answers or assistance needed to solve the problems. My work history is much more than just purchasing or hospitality because it is multidimensional and interesting, too. I've done a little bit of so many different things, from multi-unit management in food service to working as DJ on the radio; I'm able to draw on this full spectrum of experience for any position I'm needed to fulfill. Whether it's 20+ years in Contracts and Purchasing Management, 7 years of Executive leadership, or more than 30 years of customer service expertise, I build strong teams that are driven to exceed performance expectations and add value to any organization.

One duty in particular was really fun and that was serving on the Due Diligence committee.As a member of this committee, my role had included reviewing vendor information packets, including financial statements and conducting ratio analysis as part of our risk assessment. On top of that, researching LexisNexis data base for legal filings, pulling commercial credit reports, and even searching the Internet was part of this investigatory process. Findings would be summarized in memo format, submitted to the committee along with recommendations on whether or not conducting business poses significant risk to the casino and Tribal assets, as well as suggesting risk mitigation steps for on-going transactions. Most of all, it was fun to do!Direct reports include Exempt level personnel for Contract Administration and Receiving. -
