The goal of IIGR is that every internship function at the level of a university course and that it be meaningful, educational, and productive for the intern as well as for IIGR.My research is focused primiarliy on the rising trend of volunteerism in disaster relief.

I worked primarily in the shoe department. I provided prompt and courteous service to each customer who entered my department and answer any questions that customers may have had. In addition, my responsibilities included tidying my department, maintaining an awareness of any discounts or coupons being offered by the store, and assisting in price markdowns, merchandise organization, and moving of new merchandise to the sales floor.
