As an Account Executive I assist in the management of a number of accounts across a variety of therapy areas, including Oncology, Ophthalmology and Nephrology.

• Appraise the latest medical literature for the updating of two leading products in evidence-based medicine, BMJ Best Practice and BMJ Clinical Evidence• Be aware of newly published guidelines and articles across a number of different databases and websites including NICE and the World Health Organisation• Assist the evidence process by data checking, data extraction, reference checking and quality control as appropriate• Populate and maintain the evidence database for use across the Evidence Centre• Learnt the importance of Evidence-Based Medicine in public health

• Assisted the Projects, Clinical Platforms and Sciences (PCPS) study managers with co-ordination of late-phase clinical studies in a matrix & fast-paced environment• Received award and bonus for producing Global Study Delivery Team business report for 2012 and presenting it to a team of company leaders• Presented study timelines at a European investigators meeting in Frankfurt, Germany• Analysed and edited patient consent forms for distribution to study subjects across the Oncology and Neuroscience therapeutic areas• Assisted with planning and tracking of study timelines and budgets• Co-ordinated key study activities such as regulatory filings, study documentation filing, study supplies and investigator meetings• Communicated study updates to countries and GSK study teams and presented at clinical study team meetings• Learnt the importance of time management and organisation when working in a global environment and communicating with colleagues in various countries• Assisted with other projects including website content management in support of the PCPS Study Management functions• Learnt essential skills in leadership and teamwork whilst being the sole European study manager on an epilepsy study
