As a MSW student at UGA, I am committed to empowering communities and addressing the social and economic challenges faced by diverse and marginalized populations. My academic focus is on community empowerment and program development, which aligns with my professional values of social justice, human dignity, and empowerment.Currently, I am an intern at The Army of Survivors, a nonprofit organization that advocates for survivors of sexual violence in sport. In this role, I support the development and implementation of survivor-centered programs and initiatives, such as peer support groups, educational workshops, and policy recommendations. Previously, I worked as a resource specialist at CSRA EOA, where I connected low-income clients with various services and resources, and as a BSW field practicum student at the Salvation Army Center of Hope, where I provided case management and advocacy to unhoused individuals and families. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in advocacy, communication, collaboration, and case management. I am passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and the communities I serve.
