The Cora Valley Angus Ranch is a family owned and operated Black Angus cattle ranch in Wyoming of which Meredith and her three younger sisters are 5th generation. Meredith returns to the ranch a few times a year to help with special projects. The most recent project was wiring the barns with wi-fi and cameras to allow checking on the cattle from one's phone instead of a physical check-in at all hours of the night.

Meredith helped communities develop projects. She did this by researching grant funding, sorting through eligibility issues, and emerging with a recommendation on how maximize the likelihood of securing funding. Her particular expertise was in the water industry, brownfield redevelopment, energy, and economic development grant applications. Meredith secured over $37 million in grants in five years and exercised her entrepreneurial spirit growing the company's grant writing capability.
