Responsible for stake holder engagement, gathering requirements, drafting proposals, recommending technology and planning implementations of secure global business facing information technology solutions. Leads a team of IT technical engineers and solution designers in the support and operations of a private global network of information services. Optimized global Infrastructure support and delivery by assembling a 365/7/24 bimodal global team with support and delivery responsibility of mission critical systems. By insourcing this capacity was able to reduce target operational cost by more than 1.5 million dollars, while improving response and efficiency and overall quality of service leveraging ITIL v3 methodology. Implemented cost savings programs to reduce global hardware and software maintenance cost by more than 30 percent by renegotiating and restructuring contracts and services.  Designed and deployed secure reference architecture for development, test and production environments for a new standardized ERP/CRM system built around MS Dynamics supporting over a billion dollar per year of revenue, enabling, anytime, anywhere access. Designed and deployed high-availability/performance intelligent WAN solution leveraging Cisco and SilverPeak technologies, capable of supporting BIG data file replication and real-time applications globally while reducing cost and improving application performance.  Deployed high definition VOIP and Video conferencing and unified messaging solutions enabling global collaboration using Avaya, Lifesize, Lync and multiple cloud based and open source communication technologies; designed and delivered multiple advanced Crestron automated media rooms for boardroom meetings and presentations. Designed and deployed a standardized developer toolset and test platform to support elastic high performance compute, analytics and graphic rendering capability that reduced product to market lifecycle by months.

Promoted into an expanded leadership role, overseeing America's IT operational team expansion and process maturity milestones. Established a new IT Security Engineer role to focus on analyzing security technology portfolio. Created a Service Delivery role and function focused on customer service improvements and timely fulfillment of request.  Created IP and data protection programs that included DLP systems from Websense, mandatory hard disk encryption tools for laptops and mobile devices. Established IEEE dot1x standardized secure network access topologies built using virtualized networks authentication, wired and wireless clients for private and guest networks. Standardized endpoint security with McAfee End Point protection and encryption; Created a BYOD policy and implemented program reducing mobile telecom cost Introduced tiered storage environments, combining EMC VNX, HP EVA/3Par SANs and Isilon NAS for a cost effective and high performance target architecture significantly reducing cost. Maintained backups with Symantec Netbackup, Legato, Veehm software. Introduced hybrid private and public cloud (IaaS & SaaS) to support production and development operations, virtualizing systems, storage and networks with VMWare, VCD, VDI and hybrid cloud technology, dramatically improved disaster recovery capabilities and system availability of mission critical services and applications. Established a “Gold” image and managed endpoint using Altiris Deployment server and migrated global desktops to Windows 7 / Office 2010

Assembled and developed a team of technical engineers and application administrators to return "in-house" previously outsource IT Support function. Oversaw a major refresh of key infrastructure components including build out of new backup data center and structured IDF's. Implemented a top to bottom refresh of LAN and Metro network topology, ensuring future proof capabilities for dynamic communications and voice and video applications. introducing new technologies such as HP Blade Systems, SAN technology; Network services such as Exchange, Communicator, Sharepoint, Distributed File Systems. Implemented enterprise monitoring and resource management tool sets and alerting using What’s Up Gold, SolarWinds, OpManager. NetMRI, and IP Address management. Oversaw the renovations of manufacturing facilities, including design and build of new backup datacenter and standardized IDF/Switch distribution closets. Established a Service Delivery and Helpdesk Call center to support 365/24/7 US staff with end point client and user account issues. Implemented a ticket tracking system and toll free call routing ACD agent support line. Improved first call resolution and hold times significantly over the previous outsource call center provider.
