I have been a strong advocate for marine service for more than 25 years. I currently serve as Executive Director for the Association of Marine Technicians (AMTECH), a non-profit association dedicated to improving career opportunities for all marine technicians. I also work as a consultant to the marine industry, as well as general business through Alliance Management & Consulting Group, LLC. I have worked as a legal expert on Maritime Law cases. In 2010 I purchased the Watch Captain Professional software (M-PRO)program, and the The Marina Program (TMP), as well as gained the rights to MSHOP Software, Inc. These software products are now sold under a new business called Nautical Software Solution. Together with my consulting services experience, we now offer software products for the boating industry from the small service-only business to the mid-sized full service marine dealership, as well as marinas and municipal ports. We blend these services with our vast service experience to prepare marine businesses for the new rebirth of the boating industry.Prior to this I was co-owner of CDI Electronics, Inc., the industry's leading aftermarket manufacturer of outboard electronic ignition products for 25-years. The company was sold in 2007. I would like to see the marine industry recognize the importance of service and realize that it is the most important component to a strong and successful marine industry.
