With an art teacher Mum and a sales director Dad, it seemed almost destined that I would combine the two and become a graphic designer. Apparently, my fate was cemented at the ripe old age of five, on the day I proudly told my Grandad that when I grew up, it would be me making the adverts....Fast forward a few years and after my dreams were dashed of becoming a fighter pilot or a racing driver, here I am, crafting creative communications.---Following art college and graduating from uni with a 'BA (Hons) Creative Imaging in Advertising' degree in 2003, I cut my design teeth at various printing, marketing and advertising agencies before biting the bullet to set up my own independent design studio; 30two Ltd. I also work very closely with the team of marketing strategists and experts at We Are Circle Ltd.I approach all projects with the same fanatical attention to detail and have produced work for a broad section of industries internationally from sports to medical, law and finance to high street retail and fashion. Brands that I've had the pleasure of designing for include; Google, Nike, Sainsbury's, Tesco, ASDA, RAC, Optima Legal, BAE Systems and more...Being from a print-based background, I work on design briefs ranging from targeted marketing collateral (brochures and mailers), through to fully integrated corporate identity projects (branding) and national press advertising campaigns. I do love print, but I also create for online/digital media too, with a focus on UI/UX front-end design for websites, email marketing and apps.To stay creative and have fun (and give my eyes a rest from the computer screen), I get my hands dirty in the printmaking studio, producing contemporary art using older techniques like sceenprinting, letterpress and etching.
