Quantifying losses in metal-halide perovskite solar cells by using transient and steady state photoluminescence measurements
Stage De M1 Sur La Science De L’Atmosphère
The internship is linked to the validation of a patent for a solar calibration system held by the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (German Aerospace Center). This internship was conducted as part of a research team at the Solar-Institut Jülich. The aim of this project is to specify and test a laser camera system that continuously determines the orientation of the mirror surfaces of heliostats in solar tower plants. The system involves irradiating the mirror face of the heliostat with a predetermined laser beam wavelength. One of the objectives of this project was the study of granulometric and numerical distribution, as well as Mie theory and scattering intensities depending on the wavelength and particle distribution, on which I worked.
Stage Sur L’Étude De La Variabilité Journalière À Interannuelle Des Polluants En Chine
The internship is associated with the PolEASIA project, funded by the National Research Agency (ANR), on which the team I interned with is working. The PolEASIA project aims to provide a better characterization and understanding of the distribution of pollutants and their emissions in China, to study the impacts on regional and global chemical composition, climate change, and health, as well as to develop an operational air quality forecasting system that provides pollution and risk indicators to public authorities and the population. My role in this project was to study the distribution of formaldehyde HCHO in China and its temporal evolution over the past 11 years using observations from the OMI satellite instrument and to identify the emissions responsible for the observed variations. This is preliminary work to be able to use these observations in transport chemistry models to constrain emissions.
