Developed integrated Solidworks standards(library parts, template design, materials, settings, formats, tables, blocks with standardized description nomenclature, part numbers, data for ERP, PLM, and PDM systems) throughout the company, Metoring, Mechanical Design of required new equipment, and upgrades, special projects, standardized warehousing logic.

-Complete design automation of self-framing metal buildings in Solidworks using DriveWorks software with 100% accurate output data being used throughout the company from estimating, costing, sales, procurement, manufacturing, and shipping. It also reduced design time of a gable building from 4-8 hours/project to 20 minutes/project with complete fabrication drawing packages, quoting package, BOM's, pick lists, procurement lists, costing, waste calculations, and packing lists for any size/slope/openings of a building.

Lead a Mechanical Design team designing custom oilfield service equipment/vehicles/trailers/skids/tools and assist the manufacturing shop to fabricate 50+ custom vehicles/year in-house. ·Responsible for new unit design/development from concept to finished product.·Responsible for trailer/skid design, equipment layout, weights and balances, structure/support design, piping, control panels using Solidworks.·Analyze existing designs for manufacturability improvements, value engineering, and reducing part count while standardizing assemblies across unit platforms.·Managed the Mechanical Design group for over 4 years growing from 1 to over 10 designers. ·Implemented technology, procedures, standards, and processes used within Mechanical Design and throughout the fabrication, and manufacturing processes.·Created a team environment to work closely with electronics, fabrication, mechanical, engineering, hydraulics, procurement, and automation groups.·Improved communication from the design group throughout the entire organization.·Obtained valuable information through field visits for future unit requirements, designs, and improved ease-of-use for operators.·Responsible for direct designs, and design improvements on Coiled Tubing trailers/body jobs, Fracturing trailers, Cementing trailers/body jobs/skids, Bulk material handling tanks/silos/trailers/body jobs/stand-alone plants, Winch trucks, Chemical Trailers, Data Van’s, Tools, Tooling, Specialized Equipment/skids. ·Recognized for 5 years of service 14Feb09.
