Senior Devops EngineerSanmar Sep 2019 - PresentIssaquah, Wa, UsDesigned and created custom scripting/tooling around jira-azuredevops-migrator for an enterprise-wide Jira-to-Azure DevOps migration.Designed and created many automated processes using Azure DevOps REST API and AZ CLI.Reverse-engineered an existing Azure deployment to develop a new, data-driven deployment toolset (PowerShell/Azure CLI) for both desktop and Azure DevOps pipeline deployments. Created and executed a Development Plan, Test Plan, and Training Plan for this toolset. Expanded the functionality of the toolset to support PowerShell 7 and Linux, enabling the flexibility to utilize Linux ADO Agents and developer desktops. Later, re-engineered the deployment pipeline from serial to dynamic parallel, leading to a 97% reduction in deployment time.Responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining CI/CD workflows and pipelines in an Azure DevOps/Git environment.
