My work as an Engineer/Architech in Social Development and the global vision of a down sized digital urban community (GLOBAL INTERACTIVE VILLAGE ENVIRONMENT) GIVESince 1974 I have been working with Digital Technology at Rank Xerox Data Systems on 3rd generation computer systems (Sigma 9, Xerox 560, Xerox 530) working on Time Share, Real time , Batch processing and Online CommunicationsAt the advent of the PC revolution and the growth of Radio Shack’s 1970’s computer components, the Commodore Pet computer (https://www.inexhibit.com/case-studies/computer-design-commodore-pet-2001-1977/ ) programming in Basic, OOP, Dbase and compilers like Clipper.During the period of 1988-1999 worked as a DOS based Software application developer and established my first company Online Products and Services Ltd UK focused on Beta testing MSDOS MSWindows and MSOffice.Being a part of the small elite IT GEEKS of the day and as independent beta test engineer my company offered to evaluate software systems, applications and processes on their compatibility and stability under the various PC hardware/software Operating Platforms such as IBMDoS, MSDoS, DRDoS, NOVELL, GEM etc. Many digital industry players both Hardware and Software were presenting their products at SOFTSEL and MIRASEL at small exhibitions in West London.The company acquired a IT consultancy with the British Government task force in 1989 helping develop the first self-input system for the Youth Opportunity Training YOPS/YTS schemes at Hackney Business Centre and Business in Harrow.In 1993 was invited to Moscow University to offer advice on Software development and marketing as Perestroika and Glasnost ushered in need for business development at the Moscow University that was without funding. Satellite military software for tracking ground based vehicle and missiles was presented and after 3 days of discussion and evaluation it became apparent that this algorithm could be restructured to perform a much needed application for scanners and optical character recognition(OCR).In 1990’s arrived in Delhi India Focused on introducing and empowering the youth in India for Software development In 2000 introduced the concept of “Software parks and Techno Villages” in India as a platform for international trade, call Centre’s and outsourcing services.
