The Celery is an organic, whole food grain bowl & juice bar company I co-founded in June 2020 and successfully launched in December 2021. My role has been focused on brand, store design, technology, people strategy and overall operational excellence. With our operational and leadership foundation in place, my role is to step back from day-to-day operations and serve as a primary investor.

Led development and implementation of tools to deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience, with a goal to attract and retain top talent. I built a function focused on redesign and roll out of recruitment technology & process improvement, while driving all respective change management. Technology and process projects included a SalesForce to SmartRecruiters implementation, rebuilding Owl-Twitters online offer tool, and mapped 22 unique hiring processes and refined to 3. I launched Twitter’s talent brand including the development of our key messages, a new career site, the redesign of Birdhouse (Twitter’s Intranet) for the People function, social recruiting strategy and ad campaigns enabling the company to hire more than 2500 people over two years including close to 1700 technical hires. As part of my role, I rebuilt the People Analytics function and led training and development for our recruiting function which included the launch of a recruiting analytics dashboard, launch of new employee engagement survey & rebuilding on-boarding and functional training for the recruitment organization. This transformation equipped recruitment with the necessary innovation to compete for top talent in Twitter’s high velocity environment, contributing to hiring more than 20% of engineers with racial diversity and over 38% female engineers. Our leaders were provided with a deeper set of analytics to support smarter and more predictive hiring decisions.

Led a Global Recruiting & Talent Operations team responsible for the strategy, implementation and training to drive overall talent excellence. Across the Global Recruiting and Talent organization, this team provided technology solutions, employer brand design and all required change management. Our goal was to outpace emerging trends in talent management technology, UX, social media, employer brand, people analytics and assessment technologies to ensure all Adidas hiring stakeholders were ahead of market. A key result of our dedication was an all encompassing Adidas Analytics tool built in-house that gave our recruiters direct, real-time access to all key metrics and recruitment data, down to measuring how candidate experience impacted consumer behavior within our brand. Over the course of 11 years at Adidas I played a key role in building the recruiting function from 15 people to 240, across 40 countries worldwide.
