The Outreach & Development Coordinator is responsible for outreach to priority populations and provides information about navigating various affordable rental opportunities and its systems within San Francisco.Duties and Responsibilities:***Outreach***- Interact with prospective and existing clients from diverse social, economic and ethnic backgrounds.- Prepare and execute main outreach strategies to BiSHoP’s target population and clientele regarding organization’s services and other related resources that are beneficial to BiSHoP’s target population and clientele.- Coordinate and plan relevant and responsive housing education and activities with community organizations in the SOMA neighborhood and citywide.- Build and maintain relationships with organizational community partners including but not limited to attending community coalition meetings or neighborhood events.- Develop, create and distribute program information through media including but not limited to brochures, flyers, quarterly newsletter, and presentations.- Update and maintain the program's social media (e.g. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) website and email. Familiarity with Squarespace, Canva, and Constant Contact a plus.- Build and connect with universities programs to develop and implement a strong internship program; including recruitment and oversight of 2-3 interns.- Maintain BiSHoP drop-in clinic, when available. This service is currently paused due to COVID-19.- Attend BiSHoP and community events and meetings (e.g. for staff, volunteers, funding agency), etc. for recruitment, information gathering, and community engagement.***Operations***- Oversee general inquiries management (via phone calls and and emails).- Provide monthly reports on the progress of outreach goals for funders.- Maintain effective working relationships with city administrators and employees, community non-profit, the public and other agencies.
