The Outreach & Development Coordinator is responsible for outreach to priority populations and provides information about navigating various affordable rental opportunities and its systems within San Francisco.Duties and Responsibilities:***Outreach***- Interact with prospective and existing clients from diverse social, economic and ethnic backgrounds.- Prepare and execute main outreach strategies to BiSHoP’s target population and clientele regarding organization’s services and other related resources that are beneficial to BiSHoP’s target population and clientele.- Coordinate and plan relevant and responsive housing education and activities with community organizations in the SOMA neighborhood and citywide.- Build and maintain relationships with organizational community partners including but not limited to attending community coalition meetings or neighborhood events.- Develop, create and distribute program information through media including but not limited to brochures, flyers, quarterly newsletter, and presentations.- Update and maintain the program's social media (e.g. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) website and email. Familiarity with Squarespace, Canva, and Constant Contact a plus.- Build and connect with universities programs to develop and implement a strong internship program; including recruitment and oversight of 2-3 interns.- Maintain BiSHoP drop-in clinic, when available. This service is currently paused due to COVID-19.- Attend BiSHoP and community events and meetings (e.g. for staff, volunteers, funding agency), etc. for recruitment, information gathering, and community engagement.***Operations***- Oversee general inquiries management (via phone calls and and emails).- Provide monthly reports on the progress of outreach goals for funders.- Maintain effective working relationships with city administrators and employees, community non-profit, the public and other agencies.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a student-operated peer mentoring program designed to increase outreach, retention and student success. This program works in collaboration with instructors, administrators and counselors at City College of San Francisco.Assist student groups in planning and organizing on campus events in accordance with college policies and regulations.Maximize and maintain a peer mentoring office space conducive to a productive and positive support environment.Hire, train and mentor student peer mentors.

Oversee the day-to-day office operations of a retention program designed to outreach to and retain Filipino/Filipino American students at CCSF for greater academic success. This program is a part of the Multicultural Retention Services Department.Forge partnerships with various resources to empower students by promoting healthy identity formation and a strong sense of community. Empower students to become advocates for themselves, their community, and their education.Assist student groups in planning and organizing on campus events in accordance with college policies and regulations.Maximize and maintain an office space conducive to a productive and positive support environment.Create outreach materials and develop a social media presence for the program.Recruit/hire/train student support staff.
