I am an entrepreneur & coach at heart and have dedicated much of my adult life to creating avenues that help people thrive and change their lives. I’ve spent the last decade+ launching, operating, and growing a non-profit mentoring program focused on the development of fatherless youth in my community. I grew the organization, hired 15 staff members and raised over $3M in 8 years I worked there as founder & executive director. Overall, I led the engagement of 850 students and 450 mentors in the program.In July of 2024 I took the youth development director position at Renew Birmingham and look forward continuing my calling investing in the next generation. I am tasked with creating a robust youth program from birth to high school graduation that provides the tools and equipping for young people to succeed in finding and pursuing their purpose.In addition to my full time role with Renew I also direct the internship program at Build Up High School. I am so excited to be working with the youth at Build Up helping them discover their career and passions! I work with local companies in the tech and trade communities to provide internship experiences for junior and seniors. I'm also active in my community volunteering on both the Alumni committee as well as the Ignite Youth program committee of Leadership Hoover. No matter where I am located, my focus remains on the next generation.
