Responsible for the overall supervision of OA/CTS at the Pinellas County Job Corps Center in compliance with government and management directives.

Responsible for the leadership of the Ohio Outreach/Admissions and Career Transition Services project staff in all areas of program development, implementation, management and support. Full cycle human resource function. Creation and provision of staff training to maximize performance. Ensures that the Job Corps program maintains a positive public image, strong community and employer partnerships, pool of eligible and committed applicants, and full utilization of Job Corps training opportunities at assigned centers.Job Corps is a no-cost education and vocational training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 24 improve the quality of their lives through vocational and academic training. Job Corps' mission is to attract eligible young people, teach them the skills they need to become employable and independent, and place them in meaningful jobs or further education.

Supervised the Career Transition Services (CTS) operations for the State of Georgia with emphasis on long-term relationships and network-building with individuals, institutions, and organizations with high potential for employing Job Corps graduates and former enrollees. This is the second largest CTS contract nationwide with average case-load size of 3,000 youth. Manage quality, effectiveness and monitor program performance. Full cycle recruitment providing staff training to ensure success. Develop, prepare and implement systems methods and procedures to monitory and evaluate program delivery and quality. Achieve goals as set forth in the Job Corps Outcome Measurement System. Work closely with Admissions to promote integrated services.

Manage Outreach, Admissions & Career Transition contracts. During tenure involved in recruitment, program entry and provision of career transitional services to approximately 25,000 individuals. Senior Manager tasked to form and sustain an effective management team and achieve performance outcomes for the states of West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi and Southern California. Assist in responding to RFP’s, grant opportunities, in an effort to grow business. During tenure was cross trained and held various titles to include Deputy Project Director, Project Director, Manager of Informational Systems & Data Analysis, Assistant Director of Operations and Director of Operations. Created and implemented guidelines including policies, procedures and plans, which streamlined operations for service delivery.  Contributing writer for competitive proposals to obtain additional contracts. Set up effective structure for career transition services and provided staff training.  Compliance manager for federal property management system, data integrity, adherence to government regulations, electronic account access, quality assurance and internal policies.

Oversight of Career Transition Services within the Atlanta Region for the states of Alabama, Florida & Kentucky. Largest job placement contract in nation during this timespan consistently ranking within top 20 contracts and winning company contract of the year award.

 Managed residential coed program for 12-18 year olds court ordered to provide behavior modification services for reintegration back into the primary home. Onsite school. Oversight of residential services for developmentally disabled or handicapped adults to provide independent living skills training and independent living in the community. Initial position was counselor and cross-trained becoming certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist by CCWaves, Residential Youth Manager and Director of Adult Services. Planned and managed programs for work adjustment job coaching, supportive employment and counseling and residential facilities.  Expanded supportive employment program to additional city, which still exists today. Ensure compliance for CARF accreditation and report to board of directors.
