Communication SkillsI am a confident user of English both in writing and speaking. At my workplaces I was required to communicate with my guests and co-workers on a daily basis. I also was writing daily reports, fill in appropriate forms, etc.Knowledge and Experience in Massage TechniquesDuring my study in Sports and Recreation in Hacettepe University I acquired comprehensive knowledge in wide range of massage techniques including Swedish traditional massage with elements of deep tissue, sport massage. After university I had the opportunity to use my skills in a luxurie spas in Antalya and the most luxury cruise lines. In order broaden my scope of knowledge in holistic bodywork I also undertook a course in advanced thai massage, thai herbal compress massage, tok sen energy work, thai foot massage, bamboo massage, aromaspa detoxification treatment in Thailand and England. I learnt relaxation techniques in relation with lifestyle and diet habits, spiritual and mental spheres. This allowed me to see massage in wider spectrum of relaxation and, in whole, beauty therapies. My recent work experience included working in a Spa on a cruise ship as a Massage Therapist where I had the occasion to further practice and develop my massage skills. Organisational Skills and Business Acumen During my recent work at a cruise ship I was responsible for running a Spa in a team environment. My work involved not only massage, but also bookings of the clients, promotion of the Spa, my colleagues’ and my own services, meeting business targets and retail. These activities allowed me to gain a greater insight into specifics of managing a Spa on a cruise ship but also a broader look into how to run a successful business. As work on the cruise ship has the highest standarts I learnd finest quality of service and guest focuse.
