Provide Level 1 and Level 2 tech support to government agencies, banking institutions, international airports, higher education accounts and other Value Added Resellers and customers that utilize UTC’s Access Control and Video Surveillance products in both the Linux and AIX Unix environments. I am responsible for providing support for the Picture Perfect Enterprise, Redundant, and Stand-alone AIX and Linux servers, Micros, and Windows 7 and Windows XP client operator, badging and imaging stations. This technical support includes the programming, installation, as well as network and hardware troubleshooting of various Access Control components including door strikes, sensors, card readers, badge printers, for the Picture Perfect, Go-entry, and Facility Commander Classic product lines.

Provide hardware and software support for an international contract engineering detail and design center supporting 30+ engineers and design personnel. Installation/configuration support for ACAD, Microstation, and Unigraphics running on Novell 3.11, WIN ’95, NT v.4.0, & HP UNIX operating systems. Provide computer consulting, training, and support for external contract customers. Develop and document procedures for the recovery and archiving of various electronic drawing file formats. Oversaw construction design and installation for Design Center access control, data, electrical, phone, and security systems. Designed, built, and installed one of the first MS NT v.4.0 networks running Unigraphics. Included the design and building of Dual Pentium Pro NT Workstations and NT Server integrating them with UNIX Servers, VAX Anvil 500 Stations, and a Novell network. Assisted in archiving over 4 million engineering and legacy drawings by designing a custom ACAD "LISP" program which increased the ability to archive and create Adobe .pdf files for Ortho Clinical. Customer originally had a process requiring a full time draftsperson to manually open and modify each file at a rate of 20 drawings per hour to a batch routine creating up to 500 drawings per hour.
