Today's challenge is to match peoples skills and ambitions with endless opportunities - existing and created. I am working hard at not only exploring but filling this chasm.

A Hundred Hands is a not for profit (NGO) organization that helps artists across India. I have been helping with the annual bazaar as well as interacting directly with artisans and consumers. My strengths include team building by inspiring a diverse audience, analysing data and information, as well as writing effective reports and communicating across segments. I am currently focussing on cross cultural projects that use crafts and traditional art forms from various parts of the world to start dialogues about peace and communal harmony.

By selling children's books as fund raisers, I continuously interact with educators, authors and illustrators. In addition, by reviewing books for children, I facilitate the building of bridges to understanding across cultures. I enjoy interviewing illustrators, authors, and storytellers to understand and share with a larger audience how children's books touch lives, inspire and entertain.

Rehabilitation Aids for Women With Disability (RAWWD) is a unique Bangalore based NGO helping women with disabilities. By providing them skills and training, experts from Mobility India make them self sufficient and empowered. As a Board member, I helped getting funding for the NGO as well as provide guidance to the women employed during those years.
