Alternative Educational Resource Artist
Current4D IE has created three unique projects for students so far, and they include: -Mission to Mars (learning about science, science fiction, and space exploration)-Laws of the Jungle (learning about the branches of government)-Under the Sea (learning about ecosystems)Pictures can be found at this link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/4D-Interactive-Education/142105915847913All of these projects were part installation-art and performance art -- students learn by using all of their senses. 4D is an aid for teachers, too, who cannot successfully find a way to teach a particular lesson or who has lost passion an inspiration because their own methods get suppressed by high government teaching standards. Though 4D IE does follow state standards, we are, in a way, a loop-hole to the system, an alternative source for education. Lesson plans and activities are also based on individuals' needs, how they learn, where they are at academically; I get to know every student personally very well before embarking on a project.
