This role is multi-faceted and draws extensively from my career in media and business. It is comprised of two main areas of focus which are: to develop internal organizational structures/processes and to lead creative services. My time in management as both an employee and entrepreneur, have prepared me to help Cruz Street Digital in the "Operations" role. I make sure we keep an eye on things like efficiency, process flow, quality, and redundancy.The skills used in the Operations role are the same skills I've used for years in my Creative roles. The process for both requires asking the right questions and refining the answers into an effective solution.

After the untimely demise of my previous business, I went back to my roots in Creative Media Production. I also applied some of my entrepreneurial experience to secure new opportunities, resources and networks in the creative media industry. This role allowed me to work on a remote basis with occasional on-site meetings and projects. As a result, I spent more time with my family and became hooked on the idea of a lifestyle career. Headlines In Time Inc. created unique acrylic displays using newspaper and magazine articles published throughout the country. The product concept was gaining popularity and the company boasted many high-profile clients. In mid-2009 the company, like many others, was a casualty of "The Great Recession". Although we had a product that many people considered superior to that of our competitors, our company was not yet established enough to maintain a foot hold in the turbulent market. It was made evident however that we made a substantial impact in our market space by the fact that all of our known competitors now offer acrylic displays similar in design to our flagship product.In my role as Cofounder and CEO I performed the following:• Directed daily business objectives for a sales and manufacturing company.• Oversaw product conceptualization, development and visualization through graphic prototyping.• Maintained business relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, financial institutions and partners.• Secured over $500,000.00 in investment capital.• Established strategic alliances with publishers, writers, photographers and other media executives.

• Performed work in many aspects of commercial broadcast video production including audio, video, editing and story boarding.• 2D and 3D graphics and animation for use in corporate videos and television commercials.• Collaborated with team members and clients to determine production needs and timelines.

• Developed 2D & 3D graphics for CBT (Computer Based Training) Course-ware for use in U.S. military training as well as special projects for broadcast television.• Met regularly with Team members, Project Coordinators, Subject Matter Experts and Consultants to define and execute client needs.

• Responsible for monitoring the on-air transmissions of the station and preparing broadcast routing between affiliate programming, live newscasts and network schedules.• Worked with a variety of broadcast video equipment to stage commercial breaks, coordinate satellite feeds and remote news feeds using broadcast transmission equipment.• Video editing and Computer Graphics.

After leaving school I enjoyed several years learning and climbing the ranks of professional media production. At first, I had to supplement with the occasional restaurant or construction labor job. However, I was hungry and accepted any job on the production set and even did some free work to gain experience. Eventually I found myself juggling between the work I was doing for a few regular production companies, a couple television stations and my own projects. During this time, I gained experience in virtually every job in the field. Freelance Production is a diverse and demanding job, in that, one day you may be operating a camera and the next you're setting up lights.
