• Recruited to advance the association’s advocacy positions on transportation, environment, tax, small business, and civil justice reform• Developed oral and written congressional testimony for association members as well as assisting them in their preparations to testify before Congress• Represented the association in coalitions related to transportation, tax and labor • Organized and directed an award-winning grassroots/grasstops advocacy network for furthering industry policy and political goals • Developed all aspects of the association’s political action committee including the creation of its $1.5 million dollar budget, development and execution of a political strategy, and all Federal Election Commission matters• Responsible for all PAC fundraising, quadrupling the size of the PAC, raising more than $6 million during that time and growing it into the top 3% of all federally registered trade association PACs

• Established research agenda and authored issue analysis policy papers, op-eds in newspapers across the country• Authored chapter on the economic impact of the United States tort system for a book edited by the Hon. • Dealt with various FEC, FCC and other election law-related matters including ballot access for all primaries and caucuses in the United States and its territories in addition to general areas of law as they arose for what was essentially a $40 million per year corporation
