Guide, organize, and train paint technicians in proper prep and paint techniques.Plan workflow to ensure proper tools, materials, documentation, and supplies are available in a timely manner in order to adhere to work schedule and budget.Source for new vendors in order to maintain competitive pricing.Negotiate pricing with potential vendors.Provide support to paint shop supervisor.Use Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain all documentation and reports for the paint department.Perform work when little or no documentation or instruction is available. Perform initial layout and design of paint schemes from customer ideas and sketches.Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tool and housekeeping audits and complete associated reports. Use Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets containing data related to environmental impact reporting.Use automation controls software to maintain and adjust paint booth performance and monitor usage data.Use Corel Suite software and vinyl cutter to create, modify and cut vinyl stencils.Use SAP to monitor inventory levels, track and sign off quality notifications and dispositions.Work closely with Defense Contracts Management Agency inspectors to ensure government contract compliance.

Perform initial inspection of aircraft and related components to ensure all defects are noted as discrepancies prior to paint.Perform surface preparation to include stripping, sanding, taping, and graphics layout in accordance with blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation.Perform final detailing and inspection of aircraft and related components.Disassemble and assemble aircraft to support other technicians and departments.Diagnose the cause of malfunctions, identify failures and determine corrective action to restore systems to required operating specifications and standards.Maintain close working relationship with assigned management with regard to schedules, priorities,Availability of parts, supplies and tools, and special instructions as required.Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments.Assure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work, within SAP system.Maintain responsibility to keep scrap at minimum levels.Follow all OSHA, safety and environmental regulations.

Adhere to equipment requirements, methods and sequences of operation to be followed in fabrication of parts using materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins and similar materials.Layout and mark dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts.Perform complex composite lay-up, vacuum bagging, cutting, repairing, and trimming with little or no work instruction .Inspect work and ensure compliance prior to presenting it to quality control.

Perform collision repair and refinishing in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Mix paint to color-match existing paint.Layout custom paint schemes to customer specifications.Perform final detailing prior to customer delivery.

Develop and manage the recruiting strategies at four 600-seat technical support call centers in the U.S. and Canada.Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track call forecasting and staffing models.Manage a team of 4 Recruiting ManagersAnalyze data to report to Executive Management with regards to current staffing levels and future staffing needs.Collaborate with Training Director to ensure all training requirements are acheived for all new hire employees.Maintain relationships with multiple corporate clients through onsite visits and monthly meetings.
