Oversee a team of 25+ merchandisers to assure 100% completion/compliance in the service of books and magazines, candy and eyewear in various chains. Hire and train staff, assure completion of service, inspect condition of stores, maintain a personal relationship with store management, file all necessary reports with corporate headquarters.

Overseeing a team of 16+ merchandisers in the South Florida area to maintain the book sections in a major drug store chain, while personally servicing 20 stores. Recruit, hire and train the staff; assure completion of monthly service and store personnel’s satisfaction with same.

Responsible for the staffing and coordination of various retail merchandising assignments in three separate, consecutive markets: a) South Florida b) Virginia and West Virginia c) Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands; set clear expectations for a team of over 200 merchandisers in each market; coached non-performing merchandisers to perform, terminated as necessary, recruited and trained inexperienced merchandisers new to the field; met with clients as necessary.
