As internal Legal Counsel, my primary job is to try and satisfy my internal clients - ie. explain why their contract is not ready to be executed yet. However, and in addition to people management, my day to day includes contract drafting, negotiation, and regulatory compliance (both contractual and digital marketing).Professionally, my core interest is in interplay between data, technology, information security, and privacy, in a constantly changing legal landscape. As we've seen from other legal jurisdictions, privacy and the management of data continues to be ever-changing, as legislators and regulators look to balance personal rights with usage rights in the corporate world.I graduated from the JD program at Western University in April 2017 with a specialization in IP and IT, and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2018.
