Responsible for financial and operational performance of a branch and is accountable for directing, planning, organizing, and motivating employees in the performance of their responsibilities and functions. Accountable for, and ensures that the laboratory meets operational and customer expectations in a timely and effective manner while in compliance to corporate quality, environmental, Health & Safety requirements.-Accountable for managing all aspects of the operation and for ensuring that the Laboratory Director is kept current and informed on all aspects of the laboratory activities that have any direct or indirect impact on financial, customer service, quality and H&S.-Represent the business to clients, peers and employees and act with professionalism at all times (verbal, email correspondence).-Ensures that company policies are followed and understood by all personnel.-Monitors and reports weekly highlights, monthly revenue predictions. -Responsible for timesheet approvals and consumables management & timely approval of supplies.-Responsible for responding to client and all other requests within company in a quick manner.-Provide guidance on monthly operations forecast.-Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.-Maintains laboratory information system (LIMS) by identifying information needs and problems; recommending improvements; establishing priorities; testing; writing user manuals; training employees; maintaining security and confidentiality.
