Hello, my name is Donnie Schenck. I've spent most of my young adult life discerning the vocations of the Priesthood (from 2004) and the Consecrated Life (from in 2008). I returned home in2012. In 2013, I moved to Cincinnati, and since then I have been a parishioner at St. Gertrude's Church in Madeira, where I have gotten involved with the Knights of Columbus, Adult Choir, and 20's group. I began volunteering at the Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, and soon landed a job there—a year-long contract (2014-2015), beginning and ending on the feast of St. Joseph the Worker!—That's May 1st. I have also done some odd jobs for a few of my brother knights, including (yard maintenance with) Jonathan Pearson and (home remodeling involving delicate interior demolition with) Larry Flick. I also have seasonal work with my father, Mike Schenck, who is a self-employed Contractor, highly skilled in operating the bulldozer, and specializing in building ponds and lakes. These aren't little goldfish ponds—these are the real deal, built from the clay of the earth, with much potential for adding beauty, utility, and/or recreational potential to your property.
