I was a member of the Data Network team and responsible for the overall Operation and Security of the IT and ISP Networks including ISP Routers , CISCO Perimeter Firewalls, CISCO L2/L3 Switches and WLAN. I have gained knowledge and the skill which is sufficient to work in a small service provider environment. My responsibilities were as shown below,* Maintaining High Availability of the Etisalat Sri Lanka Campus Network which provides connectivity to NOC and Call Center to access Telco related services.* Maintaining High Availability of the Etisalat Sri Lanka Data Center Network.* Maintaining High Availability of the Etisalat Sri Lanka Solarwinds NPM, which was used by NOC to monitor ISP and packet switched core network performance. Apart from above responsibilities I was keen to share my knowledge among other Engineers who are willing to learn Packet based communication technologies.

I was responsible for the overall operation and security of the LAN Infrastructure ,Wireless LAN, Remote Access VPN System and IP surveillance system.I had the opportunity to manage the IT Helpdesk in addition to above responsibilities.

I was the administrator of the LAN Infrastructure ,Wireless LAN, Remote Access VPN System and IP surveillance system. I have gained valuable knowledge and experience in each of these during my stay at Etisalat Lanka.
